4 Cards with the 49 and Market Terracotta Collection + PaperArtsy

Hi friends! Today I want to share four cards with you—two from the Terracotta Saturday with Sara Webisode on Paper Wishes, and two more I made today featuring the PaperArtsy Eclectica ESN41 stamp set.

I’m using the Terracotta collection from 49 and Market:

I also have a stamped sentiment and background imagery stamping from my Eclectica set.

For the card below, I applied a rub-on to patterned paper, then stamped the sentiment slightly overlapping. Since the rub-on will create a non-porous surface, be sure to use an inkpad like Versafine so the stamping doesn’t smudge.

The leaves you see behind the matted focal are acetate. I use glue stick to secure them to the card front—a light application is best.

The second card has a script-stamped background which I die-cut and layered with an acetate botanical embellishment.

First, I stamped the script two times onto lightly patterned paper, using Versafine.

I used the frame cutting die to cut out a section of the stamped background, then glued the acetate botanical on top. You can still see the stamping through the acetate!

I also added some of the laser-cut ephemera, like the postage and butterfly, along with the acetate leaves and the border acetate piece. The label is from the 8 Labels for Your Greetings from Hot Off The Press/Paper Wishes.

The other two cards I want to share are from the Terracotta Webisode on Paper Wishes.

This design is super-easy to make because it’s taking advantage of that large overall floral border printed onto the background paper. I just added the cut out notepad image and foam-taped it to the top right corner, and embellished it with a faux-stitched rub on and an acetate leaf and paper moth. The sentiment “heartfelt thanks” is a rub on.

With this card, I added in some die cut lace using the Luscious Lace die. There are rub-ons at the bottom right and top left of the card, applied right onto the background paper, and the card focal is a rub-on flower with some paper ephemera layered on top.

I hope you enjoyed these projects! To see demos of the two Webisode projects (plus more!) then do pop over to Paper Wishes to watch the Terracotta Saturday with Sara Webisode!
