Hi friends! Last week I hosted a You Tube Live session for Altenew, featuring their Line Art stamps and dies.. We played with patterned papers and talked a lot about how to mix and match patterned papers with stamps and help messages stand out. You can catch the replay here, and just down below.

Here’s simple silhouette stamping with an overstamped sentiment. Note the large, multi-layer matting on the focal, which helps it stand out from the background paper.
This is using two colors of green inks to create a gently tone-on-tone background. Altenew gold sequins add an extra bit of dimension.
And shadow-matting the die-cut stamped image helps it to stand out, especially when layered with foam tape.
