Altenew Facebook Live: Basic Blooms Love Card

Hi friends! Last week I hosted a Facebook Live with Altenew’s Basic Blooms stamp and die set. Here’s one of the projects we created in the session—to see the video, just pop by the Altenew Facebook page.

Basic Blooms is a layering set, so you’ll stamp layers of a single image on top of one another to create a dimensional image. Each of these flowers can be stamped in five layers… or you can stamp one, two or just three layers. Here, I’m just stamping two layers of a flower.

I stamped the E3 part of the flower onto white cardstock with Evening Gray, then stamped on top of that with the E5 part of the flower with Dark Chocolate. Repeat to create a second flower, then die-cut them with the Basic Blooms die set.

The leaves are created with simple white die-cuts, then A2 and B2 leaves are stamped with Dark Chocolate and die-cut. Once you’ve cut all the elements, then group them onto a piece of white cardstock that’s been spattered with watery Dark Chocolate and add the stamped sentiment. The flowers have been attached with foam tape for extra lift.

Thanks for joining me today! If you want to watch the video of this project (and others!) then just pop over to Facebook!
