Hi friends! If you missed last night’s Facebook Live video with the Altenew Grateful stamp and die combo, you can still tune in—just click here and enjoy!
In the meantime, here’s one of my favorites from the session—
For this, you’ll need a brayer and a water mister… plus your craft mat and a couple of coordinating dye inks. I pressed Honey Drizzle, Peach Perfect and Paper Bag onto the craft sheet, misted it with water and brayered through the ink and onto white cardstock.
Then, die cut the Layered Plaid Cover Die B from cream cardstock. When you remove it from the die-cutting machine, gently flip it over and use tape to hold some of the “innie” shapes in place. (I find that it works best to run the die through the machine only once rather than back and forth, so you don’t get a complete cut the first time.)
Ink the bottom of the acorn with Peach Perfect and Paper Bag at the top. Mist lightly with water, then stamp. Repeat for two images. Die cut and assemble the card as shown, with the Happy Birthday stamped in black. I’ve used the Frames Dies (as usual!) for the focal.
Thanks for stopping by, friends! Remember, you can watch the complete Facebook Live video where I show this project plus others—just click here and enjoy!
