Hi everyone!
Last week I hosted a Facebook Live with Altenew, featuring the Cross Stitch Flower stamp and die combo. This set is a lot of fun and gives you a really cool effect that looks and feels like cross stitching.
If you missed the video, click on the image below or watch on You Tube. Keep reading to see photos of the projects, too.

So easy to do: Just stamp the word with a variety of inks, then add to an inked background. (I show you how to do both in the video!)
I love the simplicity of this! Die cut just the word “hello” on white cardstock and glue to a contrasting color. The white-on-white here is just so crisp and clean…and it’s a really easy design to do quickly!
For this one, I stamped the flower layers using the same ink blending technique as I shared in the first “hello” card…then added a heat-embossed layer and finally, the die cutting.
This is such a simple technique: Stamp and heat-emboss the top layer of the flower, then die cut the design and use colored pencils to fill in the rest of the flower. So easy!
Here’s a close-up. It does look cross-stitched, doesn’t it?
I hope you enjoyed the projects! Remember, you can watch the video on You Tube. (Please keep in mind that special offers and sales mentioned in the video might no longer apply, depending on when you watch this!)
