Cabinet of Curiosities: New Cards!

Hi friends! Today I want to share a few projects with you, featuring a really cool collection from Ciao Bella. They recently released their Cabinet of Curiosities over at Paper Wishes, and it was the feature of last weekend’s Saturday with Sara Webisode. On Sunday I made two more cards with my leftover stash of supplies, and here they are!

I’m using the Cabinet of Curiosities Junk Journal & Ephemera Book for these projects. The book contains papers, cut out elements and the word stickers.

Here’s a project from the Webisode:

You can see the gorgeous patterned paper background—I added to it with layers of nested oval dies and then added the stickers as the focal and accents.

Here’s another Webisode project—

The collection contains envelopes you can cut out and fold up (you see the one with the bird on the left) plus tag cut-outs that fit right inside. This one I embellished with the word stickers, a butterfly and some jute twine stapled to the top.

You can watch me demo these on the Webisode!

I also made two other projects, just for you. Have a look—

These cards could not be easier! For both, I simply covered the front of the card with patterned paper, then added one of the large cut-outs, and overlapped sticker words on top. I added a bit of jute twine to both of them as well. Here’s the “Escape the Ordinary” card:

And the “Do What You Love” card:

I love the imagery—perfect for springtime card-making!

Please pop on over to the Paper Wishes Webisodes page to have a look at the demo. I saw the coordinating Rice Paper for this collection sold out (so fast!) but you can always leave your email and they’ll contact you when it’s back in stock.
