Hi friends! Last night I hosted a Facebook Live with Altenew, featuring their Festive Poinsettia stamp and die collection. You can watch the replay here, and then scroll down to see two of the cards from the video!
With this card, I went traditional, with simple stamping in Obsidian then coloring in with Ink Sprays in Puffy Heart and Mountain Mist. Simply decant a bit of the liquid onto a craft sheet, then use a brush to paint in the stamped image.
If you like to go with a more modern, less traditional look, then you can opt for something like this design. I brayered the Puffy Heart onto white cardstock and stamped with Obsidian. The spattering on the background is Lagoon ink spray—spattered with a brush, not sprayed from the nozzle as you might otherwise assume! 🙂
Just die-cut the poinsettia and you have a retro-modern twist on a traditional motif!
