Evergreen Season Christmas Cards

Hi friends! Today I have some Christmas card designs for you, featuring the gorgeous Evergreen Season collection from 49 and Market. These cards are from the Saturday with Sara Webisode I designed for Paper Wishes—you can watch the video by clicking here, and keep scrolling to see more.

The supplies I’m using are:

Evergreen Season 6″x8″ papers

Evergreen Season Laser Cuts

Evergreen Season Rub-Ons

Evergreen Season Acetate Set

Bow Dies

Caviar Beads

Snowfall Acetate

Gold Glitter Cardstock

This collection is full of beautiful imagery for the winter seasons!

For this design, I covered the card front with the gingham patterned paper, then added postage bit of rub-ons at the right side. On the left, I have a strip of lightly-patterned white cardstock with a bit of scalloped gold glitter cardstock. The focal is a white flower rub-on, die-cut into a scalloped rectangle, also matted onto glitter card. In the flower center, I added some gold Caviar beads.

Between the focal and the border, I have an acetate botanical piece and some gold gemstones.

The Joy card also features a rub-on focal.

I covered the card front with green cardstock, then added a patterned paper layer. I die-cut the rub-on focal into a rectangle, with a scalloped layer. Then I added it to the card front, and accented it with laser-cut elements like the “believers” tab at the top, the “believe in magic” tag, plus acetate pine boughs.

The bow is a made from the Bow Dies. (I demonstrate this in the Webisode—the dies are super-easy to use and come in handy for Christmas as well as birthday greetings.)

Our last card is a window-cut design, and uses Snowfall Acetate to create a layer between the front panel and the back. To make this, cover the front of your card with patterned paper, then use a square die to cut the window through the front panel. I also use the square and scallop dies to create the frame around the window with gold glitter cardstock. (I demonstrate this in the Webisode.) Then I glued the acetate inside the front panel of the card.

You can see the little “so joyful” rub-on message at the top of the window—yes, you can apply a rub-on to the acetate!

Here’s another look at today’s three cards.

There’s one more card project I showcase in the Webisode, and of course there are loads of demos in the video, too. Please pop on over to the Paper Wishes Webisodes page to watch the video, and you can catch up on other video tutorials, too!
