This week I was playing with some leftover papers from my Saturday with Sara Forest Webisode, and thought it would be fun to include some stamping and stenciling with PaperArtsy, too. Have a look at the card I made, then be sure to check out the Forest Webisode, airing this Saturday, January 25!

I’m using patterned paper from the Forest 8″x8″ paper pack—one sheet for the background, and a second for stamping on. The stenciling in the top and bottom corners is with my PM027 stencil from PaperArtsy, also using Grunge Paste.

The bird stamp is an older one from PaperArtsy—ESN64—and I love how just swapping out some new paper and embellishments can really update something you’ve had in your stash for awhile.
I stamped the birds with Versafine Nocturne, which I also used to ink around the edges of the patterned paper.

I also have some leaf die cuts at the top and bottom corners. These are from Hot Off The Press’ Frosted Flowers die set, and I love this leaf in particular because it’s so versatile and works for so many different card projects. And just by cutting them from a variety of cardstock colors, or angling them slightly differently, you can get a completely different look.
The “Shift Freedom” embellishment is actually an old typewriter key that I had in my stash of ephemera (a stash I’m trying to use!) and I’ve just glued that in place.
Here’s another quick look at the card—

Thanks for joining me today—and don’t forget, this weekend’s Saturday with Sara Webisode will bring even more fun with the Stamperia Forest collection!
