Hello friends! Today I’m back with some all-occasion cards featuring the elegant vintage florals of 49 and Market’s Gardenia collection. Make them simple, or add in layering or mixed-media techniques… these laser cuts, rub-ons and papers are the perfect foundation for any theme.
These cards are from a Webisode I made for Paper Wishes. (Did you know I have three new videos on Paper Wishes each month? It’s a great way to learn techniques and see the latest stash of cardmaking supplies.) You can see photos below—and feel free to pop over and see the complete how-to video.
This card features some inky spattering on the background paper, leaf rub-ons, plus a foam-taped flower. The sticker sentiment at the bottom is from the Grateful, Thankful Dazzles set from Hot Off The Press.
To accent the focal leaves and butterflies, I snipped apart a Chicken Wire die-cut piece as a frame.
The Bendi Card die gives you this fun, dimensional card base. (The flaps can be undone to mail the card flat.)
To see the how-to’s for the cards shown here (plus one more!), have a look at the Saturday with Sara #48: Gardenia #2 by 49 and Market Webisode over on Paper Wishes!
