Hi friends! I hope you’re all doing well and maybe even having some time to do a bit of crafting?
Yesterday I showed an easy way to put Grunge Paste to work for easy card backgrounds. You can see the demo by watching the video, and scroll down to see the projects.
For the first card, I brayered Purple Wine paint onto white cardstock. After it dried, I used the PaperArtsy PS176 stencil to add Grunge Paste circles. I spattered with Weathered Copper, then added a message from the Eclectica ESN36 stamp set.
For the second card, I simply placed black cardstock onto the Grunge Paste that was still on my stencil. Lift quickly (Grunge Paste dries fast!) and you have a cool abstract background. I also added a spattering of Weathered Copper paint. The card focal is another element from the Eclectica ESN36 stamp set.
A little note: All the supplies I used are from PaperArtsy. This company is based in the UK, and manufactures their stamps and stencils on-site. They only sell to independent retailers, many of whom are struggling in these very challenging times. If you see something you like, I encourage you to check with your local retailer as many have curbside order pick-up and could really use our support. Thank you.
In the US, Frantic Stamper stocks a lot of PaperArtsy; in the UK, Stamper’s Grove is a good source.
