For my project, I designed a tag featuring PaperArtsy ESN stamps and stencil, Fresco Finish paints, WOW clear embossing powder and a favorite reverse-stenciling technique.
I’m so glad you’re here—have a look! (And keep reading to learn about Topflight’s giveaways!)
Here are the supplies I used for this tag:
- PaperArtsy ESN67 stamp set
- PaperArtsy PS364 stencil
- PaperArtsy Fresco Finish Chalk Acrylic paints: Sugar Plum, Frosty
- Brayer
- WOW Clear Gloss Regular Embossing Powder
- Versafine Onyx Black ink
- Silver embroidery thread
- Jute twine
- Gold flat back embellishment
- Manila tag
- Smooth white card stock
- Square and scallop square cutting dies
- Foam tape
- Fine tip paintbrush
Here’s how to make it—
For the focal, stamp the flower onto white card stock using black pigment ink. Cover with clear embossing powder; tap off the excess and heat-set.
Make a watery wash of the Sugar Plum and Frosty paints, then paint in the flower petals and leaves. The raised edges of the embossing will act as a resist. Let dry.
Then, die cut and layer the stamped image using square and scallop dies. I’ve added a bit of embroidery thread between the layers for some texture, using foam tape to adhere the two. I also added some Sugar Plum along the straight edges of the top layer.
For the tag: Brayer the tag lightly with Sugar Plum, then Frosty. Let dry. Place the stencil on a piece of scrap paper and use the brayer to cover it with Frosty. Immediately place the tag onto the wet stencil and press, then lift straight up. Let dry.
Stamp the script portion of the stamp at the top left of the tag, then add the stamped focal to the tag.
The layers are so easy to achieve!
And one last look—
I’m so glad you stopped by for this hop. There’s still soooo many other projects to explore from other designers.
And, did we mention there will be prizes?

Very pretty tag!
The scallops, the diamonds…. how pretty!!
Your card turned out beautiful!
Hi Sara. I am not sure if my comment is in moderation, so am going to try to post it again. I really like your tag. I have not used Fresco acrylic paint yet, but I like the look of it on your tag. Your green and purple background colors are so soft and pretty. I like them through the diamond stencil. I also love the twine and beautiful flower you painted. I am looking forward to your next project. Thank you, Bo Gilmore
Very nice!

Thank you, Bo! 🙂 If you give the Frescos a try, let me know what you think. I really love them for their color range and quality.
