Remember these machines when you were a kid? The thrill of putting in a dime or a quarter and—luck of the draw—getting a piece of candy, a sticker or a temporary tattoo?
Last weekend we were at a beachside restaurant in Gdynia; between the pier and the restaurant is this kid-tempting row of candy machines. While I resisted the urge to drop two zloty for a zelki, I couldn’t resist the photo. It’s a fabulously eclectic cluster of lines, shapes, and general old-school charm.
Happy Friday!
