It’s summertime in Sopot, and the beach is prime for dinner picnics—not too crowded, with a bit of gentle evening sun plus the lazy walk or bike ride to and from. There’s nothing that reminds me of summertime quite like Salt Water Sandals—if you were a little girl in America, chances are you had a pair. (Mine were always navy. Every.year.) Now my own little girl is has a pair of her own, and I love seeing them kicked aside in the sand while we enjoy a brief game of ball before dinner on the picnic blanket.
As for the photo: Well, I’m experimenting with negative space in my photos. This is the area around the subject, or the “white space”. Around here, it’s less white space and more sand!
