Today on Studio SN on You Tube: Cardmaking with Rhinestone Sticker Sheets!
Rhinestone sticker sheets from The Buckle Boutique are great fun for card accents—even more so because you can easily alter them!
Cardmaking with Rhinestone Sticker Sheets, what you need—
- Dazzling Diamond Rhinestone Sticker Sheet (The Buckle Boutique)
- Swirl stamp: Butterflies Stamp Set (Hot Off The Press)
- 5”-wide scallop circle punch
- Say it with Words cutting dies (Die’sire) from Crafter’s Companion
- Spectrum Noir DR5 alcohol ink pen or refill (Crafter’s Companion)
- Cardstock: White, teal, black
- Black ink
- Black brads
- Foam tape
- Teal silk ribbon
- Blank white card
Cardmaking with Rhinestone Sticker Sheets, how to do it—
- Cut a 2”-wide strip of rhinestone sticker sheet. Use the chisel tip of the alcohol ink pen to color the rhinestones. Note: if you want the ink to sink in between the gemstones, use an alcohol ink refill as shown in the video.
- Let dry (this will take a minute). Stamp a swirl on white cardstock, then mat on teal and black cardstock. Glue to the card front. Adhere the rhinestone sticker sheet across the card.
- Punch the scallop shape and die cut the word “love”. Glue the word to the scallop and adhere with foam tape.
- Add a brad at each corner of the card and a knotted piece of teal ribbon a the bottom of the scallop shape.
