Today on Studio SN on You Tube: Christmas Cards with Chameleon Fineliners!
Chameleon Fineliners are fabulous pens for writing, journaling, doodling… and making card backgrounds. If you look closely, you’ll see the loopy doodled lines I made are fading from dark purple to light. That’s all done with one pen!
Have you heard the phrase “hop the top”? Simply switch the cap from one pen to another, hold the pen upright for a few seconds to allow the ink to flow down into the pen barrel, then begin drawing. The longer you leave the new cap on the pen, the longer your blending time. (And no, it won’t contaminate your pen.)
Try this with two pens, or more… I think the most I’ve done is 5 or 6. Opt for contrasting colors or blend from tone-on-tone shades. There are so many possibilities!
