Happy Wednesday!
Today I want to share a simple card design featuring the PaperArtsy Eclectica stamp set ESN23 and the PS092 stencil design. (Note: These designs are just now out (yahoo!) and I’ve linked to two UK retailers who have them in stock. Please check with your local retailer or online retailer to see where you can most easily get them!)
Constant Heart card, what you need—
PaperArtsy Eclectica stamp set ESN23
PaperArtsy EclecticaPS092 stencil
PaperArtsy Fresco Finish Chalk Acrylic paints: Bora Bora, Mermaid, London Bus
Black permanent ink
Water and small paintbrush
Craft sheet
Palette knife
Brayer
Cardstock: White, cream
Red and white bakers twine
Foam tape
Constant Heart card, how to make it—
- Squeeze a small amount of Mermaid onto the craft sheet. Roll the brayer through the paint, then across a piece of white cardstock. Don’t coat the piece entirely. Let dry.
- Mix some Grunge Paste with Bora Bora paint. Place the stencil on the right side of the brayered piece. Use the palette knife to apply the mixture through the stencil. Remove the stencil and let dry.
- Stamp the heart with black ink onto white cardstock.
- Squeeze a bit of London Bus paint onto the craft sheet. Add a bit of water, then paint in the heart. Add more water to the brush and tap to spatter color onto the heart piece. Run the edges through the watery red. Set aside to dry.
- Spatter more watery London Bus onto the brayered/stenciled piece. Let dry.
- Wrap the brayered/stenciled piece with baker’s twine, then glue to the card front. Add the stamped heart with foam tape. Tie a bow in baker’s twine and glue as shown.
And…if you happen to be in the Hamburg, Germany area this spring, keep an eye out for my upcoming classes, featuring PaperArtsy supplies!
