Happy Wednesday! Today I wanted to share with you a fun and easy little gift box, using the Couture range of cutting dies. Here’s the thing, though: Right after I made this little box, I discovered the dies I used are no longer available at Create and Craft…they sold out in between the time I made this project! However, I know a lot of you have already purchased these dies, so it seems a shame not to show an idea of how you can use them.
Couture Gift Box, what you need—
Couture by Create and Craft Christmas Numbers and Letters
Couture by Create and Craft Multiple Closure Box
Metallic star cardstock
Red cardstock
Green satin card, gold satin card
Foam tape
Self adhesive pearl
Silver ribbon
Washi tape or other low-tack tape
Die cutting machine
Double-sided tape
Couture Gift Box, how to make it—
Die cut the box outline from metallic star cardstock. Fold up and use double-sided tape to secure the flaps.
Die cut the tag, two branches, letter, circle, and berries as shown. (I like to secure the dies to cardstock with washi tape so I can use up my small scraps of cardstock.)
Secure the branches and berries to the box top.
Glue the letter to the tag and glue to the gold circle. Add the circle to the box with foam tape.
Finish with a bow and pearl.
That’s it…easy! It’s such a simple project that takes just a few minutes and works beautifully for the upcoming holidays!
