Happy Wednesday, friends!
This week I have a simple little Christmas card to share with you…though, you can certainly switch up the colors and make this stamp and layout work for other occasions too.
This technique is a favorite of mine. I refer to it as Partial Embossing, which is where you stamp an image with one color of ink (in this case, black) and then overstamp with embossing ink and cover some areas with embossing powder.
Priority Post Stamped Christmas Card, what you need—

Priority Post Stamped Christmas Card, how to make it—
Brayer white cardstock with Seaglass paint. Let dry, then brayer random areas with embossing ink. Sprinkle with gold embossing powder and heat set.
Place the collage stamp on the MISTI, with the brayered cardstock on the other side. Ink the stamp with black and close the MISTI. Lift. Leave the stamp and cardstock in place but clean the black ink from the stamp. Re-ink with embossing ink and again close the MISTI.
Remove the cardstock from the MISTI and sprinkle gold embossing powder on some areas. I’ve put it on the pine boughs and the dots. Tap off excess and heat set.
Use a small brush to add watery Slimed paint to the stamped pine. When dry, ink the edges with embossing ink and add gold embossing powder. Heat set, then mount on black cardstock and glue to the card front.
Brayer Butter paint onto a second piece of white cardstock. When dry, stamp the collage design with black. Cut out the round postmark and foam tape it on top of the same postmark image on the larger piece. Add a red bow.
Easy—and so effective for both Christmas and everyday occasions!
