Embossing with Eclectica, how to do it—
- Stamp the star on white cardstock with embossing ink. Immediately sprinkle with gold embossing powder. Tap off the excess into a folded piece of scrap paper and return to the jar. Heat set the stamped star, then cut out.
- Place a second piece of white cardstock onto scrap paper. Roll the brayer across the embossing inkpad, then lightly onto areas of the white cardstock, not covering the piece completely. Sprinkle with gold, tap off excess and heat-set.
- Repeat the brayering to add more ink on top of the gold embossed background. Sprinkle with violet and heat-set.
- Run the embossing inkpad along the edges of the background, then dip into the violet embossing powder in the folded scrap paper. Tap off excess and heat-set.
- Use Grape ink to stamp the music notes across the embossed background—I stamped twice to get it to go the length of the cardstock.
- Mat the piece on white, then teal, lavender and cream. Wrap with teal/brown ribbon Stamp the sentiment with grape on cream cardstock, trim and mat the top and bottom with lavender. Glue across the background. Add three brads.
- Glue to the card front. Add the star with foam tape. Tie a bow in purple silk ribbon and glue as shown.
