You know I’m always looking for new ways to use my Faber-Castell Gelatos…well, mixing them with other mediums is a favorite for me, and this week I’m mixing things up with PaperArtsy Grunge Paste!
Faber-Castell Gelatos and Grunge Paste for Cardmaking, what you need—
– Faber-Castell Gelatos: Snow Cone, Bubble Gum Pink, Red Cherry
– PaperArtsy Eclectica ESN14 stamps
– Ranger Jet Black Archival ink
– WOW Embossing Powder in Pink Sorbet Embossing Glitter
– Acrylic block
– Palette knife
– Craft sheet
– Water spritzer
– Black pen
– Cardstock: kraft,white, black
Faber-Castell Gelatos and Grunge Paste for Cardmaking, how to do it—
1. Use the palette knife to put some Grunge Paste on your craft sheet. Scribble Bubble Gum Gelato next to it and use the palette knife to mix the two. Apply the mixture to an acrylic block, then stamp onto kraft cardstock. Turn the block and repeat as you wish.
2. While the mixture is still wet, sprinkle with Pink Sorbet Embossing Glitter. Let dry.
3. Stamp the flowers on white cardstock. Scribble Gelato color onto the craft sheet and spritz water next to the color. Use your finger to blend on the craft sheet, then apply to the flower petals. Use a combination of Bubble Gum and Red Cherry on some, and Snow Cone on other flowers. Create 4 flowers in total. Cut out.
4. Use black pen to draw a border around the stamped background. Cut and mat on white cardstock. Stamp the sentiment at the bottom right, then mat on black and glue to the card front.
5. Adhere the flowers with foam tape, adding button flower centers.
