Hello and happy Wednesday! Today we’ve got an extra Studio SN video on You Tube: Making a Personalized Gift Box with the Brother P-Touch Handheld Labeller. I demonstrated this cool little gizmo on Create and Craft awhile ago and I’m still having a ton of fun with it.
Making a Personalized Gift Box with the Brother P-Touch Handheld Labeller, what you need—
Brother P-Touch H101GB Handheld Labeller and pink tape
Blue bakers twine
Black, yellow cardstock
Rhinestone sticker accents
Foam tape
Oval cutting die (mine is Tattered Lace Essential Ovals)
Kraft box
Making a Personalized Gift Box with the Brother P-Touch Handheld Labeller, how to do it—
- Turn on the machine and press the ABC with a border button- it’s the third from the left at the top of the machine. Use the arrow button to toggle to the Flower option. Press the enter button.
- To add the crown motif: Press the Pictograph button at the bottom of the machine’s keypad—this is the button with the @ symbol, second from the left. Toggle the arrow button to Pictograph, then toggle to Fun and push the enter button. Toggle to Crown and push the enter button.
- To type the recipient’s name: Press the Capital/Lower Case button, the farthest button on the left on the bottom row of the keypad. Use the keypad to type the first letter of the name. Press the Capital/Lower Case button again to make lower case letters for the rest of the name. Repeat Step 2 to add another crown icon at the end of the name.
- Print the label, then trim the ends if necessary and mount on to yellow cardstock. Die cut an oval from black cardstock and glue it to the kraft box. Wrap with twine and add the label with foam tape. Add rhinestone accents and a bow tied in twine.
That’s it—so easy! Even better, you can create custom gift packaging and party decor with this simple little machine, all in one go. To see the complete step by step video tutorial, please stop by the Studio SN channel on You Tube and watch the video on Making a Personalized Gift Box with the Brother P-Touch Handheld Labeller.
If label crafts are your thing, please also tune in to Create and Craft on Wednesday, July 19 at 20:00 UK time to see a new show with demos featuring the Brother Craft Labeller (which also prints ribbon!). Hope to see you there!
