Happy Wednesday! Today I want to share a fun little gift bag design with you. The bag is just a simple brown paper lunch sack, but so much fun to decorate with stamps, doilies and patterned paper.
It would make a cute Valentine treat bag for the coffee lovers you know!
May Your Coffee Be Strong Gift Bag, what you need—
Stamps: Coffee with a Splash (Altenew)
Markers: Artist Markers Red Cosmos set (Altenew)
Permanent Black Crisp Ink (Altenew)
Brown paper bag
Polka dot patterned paper
Cardstock: White, gray
Manila tag
Doily
Wooden clothespin
Red and white washi tape
Red bakers twine
May Your Coffee Be Strong Gift Bag, how to make it—
1. The size of your design will depend on how much you need to fold over the top of the bag. I find it helps to determine first how what will go in the bag, then fold over the top as much as needed.
2. Trim a piece of polka dot paper to fit the front side of the bag. Ink the edges and glue to the bag.
3. Stamp the cup on white card with black permanent ink. Color the cup with Ruby Red, the inside of the cup rim with Coral Berry and the inside of the cup with Frosty Pink. Trim and glue to the manila tag. Add washi tape to the top and bottom. Stamp the sentiment at the bottom of the tag.
4. Mat the tag on gray cardstock and glue to the bag front. Add a paper doily to the folded top of the bag. Secure with a clothespin. Tie a bow in bakers twine and glue to the clothespin.
