Today on Studio SN on You Tube: Reverse Stenciling with PaperArtsy Fresco Finish Paints!
Today’s segment is all about creating easy backgrounds with acrylic paint, a brayer and a stencil.
Reverse Stenciling with PaperArtsy, what you need—
- Fresco Finish Chalk Acrylic paints: Baltic Blue, Sargasso, Slimed, Snowflake (PaperArtsy)
- Stencil: PS102 (PaperArtsy)
- Stamp set: Eclectica ESN27 (PaperArtsy)
- Brayer
- Water mister
- Small paintbrush
- Black ink
- White cardstock
- Scrap paper
- Twine
- Foam tape
Reverse Stenciling with PaperArtsy, how to do it—
Place your stencil onto scrap paper, then brayer with Baltic Blue paint. Mist lightly with water, then press white cardstock on top. Smooth and lift. Let dry. Fill in some of the stenciled dots with a mixture of Sargasso, Slimed and Snowflake paints.
Brayer white cardstock with Sargasso and Baltic Blue, then cut into strips and glue onto the background. Wrap with twine. Edge the stenciled piece with Slimed and assemble with foam tape. Stamp the sentiment onto white cardstock and adhere as shown.
