Hi friends! Today I have a fun and colorful “best wishes” card for you, using the Eclectica ESN52 Postcard Birdie stamp set, PS247 Ruler stencil and PS248 Chevrons stencil.
I’m also using PaperArtsy Fresco Finish Chalk acrylic paints and Grunge Paste.
The birdie focal was stamped onto painted book paper, then coated with ICE Resin and then die cut. To see a demo on coating paper with resin, simply click on the Stampers Grove demo.
I lightly brayer-painted white cardstock with Limelight paint; when that was dry, I stenciled the chevrons with Aquamarine. The ruler design is stenciled with Grunge Paste, then with Koala paint. When dry, I stamped the sentiment with black and edged the card with Sargasso paint.
Then I brayer-painted a piece of book paper with Sargasso, Limelight and Aquamarine and splattered with Sargasso.
This is the back of that piece:
After stamping with black ink, I coated the piece with resin. After that cured (the next day) I die cut it into a square.
Then start layering with foam tape:
Here are a few more looks:
Enjoy!
