Hi friends! If you’d like a quick and easy video showing how to make those cute stamped pumpkins, here’s one that Anna and I made this weekend. Just click on the image above to see.
As for supplies: All you need is half of a small apple, orange (or red and yellow) and green paint, a paintbrush, a permanent marker, and a craft mat or pile of newspaper to protect your work surface. Also, cardstock or a heavier-then-printer-weight paper.
For written instructions, see last week’s blog post.
(I often get frustrated at the Pinterest-perfect “kids” craft projects. After a creative session where many of our stamped pumpkins did most definitely not resemble the super-cute/really tidy projects we found online, Anna and I figured sharing a few tips on this classic autumn craft would make it a lot more fun for kids and their adults. Some of the pumpkins won’t be totally perfect—which is kind of how pumpkins come in real life!—but they will be kooky, or pretty, or clever or hilarious, and that’s kind of the point.)
Enjoy!
That is an adorable card,
Well done Anna and Sara so easy to follow instructions
Happy Halloween to you too
Have a beautiful week
Love the idea Anna! You were awesome.
It was so nice to see your daughter and Anna is definitely following in her mothers footsteps. Anna has a flair for creative art and seems to be very talented and original with her work.
