Grunge Paste and Stenciling, how to make it—

Brayer a piece of textured white cardstock with Candy Floss, allowing some white to show through. Let dry.

Position the stencil over the painted background. Combine Grunge Paste with Limelight paint on the craft sheet. Use the palette knife to apply the tinted paste through a portion of the stencil. Lift the stencil straight up. Tip: Clean the stencil and palette knife right away so the Grunge Paste doesn’t dry onto it.

Make a watery wash of black ink, then use the waterbrush to spatter onto the painted, textured piece. Use black ink to stamp the background elements as shown.

Mat on black cardstock.

Fold a piece of textured white cardstock into a card base. Brayer the front with Limelight paint. Add a spatter of watery black ink. Glue the textured piece in the center.

Brayer a piece of textured white cardstock with Limelight, then cut into a narrow strip. Mat on black, then white cardstock and glue horizontally across the card front.

Stamp the sentiment on smooth white cardstock and die-cut into an oval shape. Die cut a second oval from black cardstock and glue behind the stamped oval, slightly offset. Add to the card front with foam tape.

Add rhinestone stickers and a bow tied in baker’s twine.

That’s it—simple! To see the Grunge Paste and Stenciling video, just pop on over to You Tube. Enjoy!
