The fine tip on the Dylusions Paint Pens means they work beautifully for outlining stamped designs. It’s a great way to add a touch of color to an otherwise simple design, and lets the flower stand out as a focal image.

Sara Naumann Sara's Stamping Techniques OutliningOutlining Stamped Images, what you need—

Stamps: Easy Watercolor Florals (Hot Off The Press/Paper Wishes)

Dylusions Paint Pens: London Blue, Cut Grass (Ranger)

Stamping Ink: Jet Black Archival (Ranger)

Cardstock: White, green, blue

Green baker’s twine

Pearl embellishments

Acrylic blocks or a MISTI (My Sweet Petunia)

Outlining Stamped Images, how to make it—

1. Use black ink to stamp the large flower outline and sentiment onto white cardstock.

2. Trace around the flowers with London Blue pen. Trace the leaves, stem and flourishes with Cut Grass.

3. Tear the bottom edge of the cardstock, then mat on blue and green cardstock. Glue to the card front.

4. Add three pearls to the bottom of the stamped flower and one in the center of the large flower.

5. Tie a bow in baker’s twine and glue as shown.

The other project I showed is the same outlining technique, but with Altenew Bamboo Rose stamps and Altenew alcohol Artist Markers.
