This simple card features a couple of my favorite techniques: Using an acrylic block to stamp an abstract background…plus coloring stamped images with markers…plus spattering. And of course, stamping!

Imagine Stamped Feather Card with Aladine, how to make it—
Place a drop or two each of Gentian, Safran and Rose pigment Izink on the clear acrylic block. Turn the block over and stamp the ink onto a piece of white cardstock. Note: For a more watercolor effect, mist the block lightly with water before stamping.
Lift the block straight up. You can leave it as is, or repeat to get even more color.
Make a watery wash of Rose pigment ink and use the water brush to spatter onto the white cardstock. Let dry, then stamp “imagine” at the bottom right corner with black.
Stamp the feather with black onto white cardstock. Color with the pens: Verveine, Rose and Cire. Cut out the feather and use foam tape to adhere it to the inked background.
Mount on black cardstock and glue to the front of a card blank. Add a bow in baker’s twine.
That’s it—easy! Enjoy your Tuesday and see you next week!
