I love this technique! It’s fast, easy and a great way to utilize your cutting dies, especially those silhouette designs.

What you’ll need:

– Washi tape: Red with white dots, red bandana, blue flower, yellow pattern

– Cutting dies: 3 Butterflies and Shadows Cutting Dies (Hot Off The Press)

– Stamps: Eclectica ESN04 (PaperArtsy)

– Die cutting machine

– Black self-adhesive rhinestones

– Cardstock: red, black, white, yellow

– Black and white baker’s twine

Here’s how to do it:

1. Place red and blue washi tapes on white cardstock, allowing space between each strip. Place small pieces of yellow washi tape as shown.

2. Run through your die-cutting machine to create a large silhouette butterfly.

3. Use a ruler to score the wings and gently fold them up. Add three large black rhinestone stickers.

4. Stamp “one word: dream” on white cardstock with black ink. Mat on black cardstock, then on yellow, leaving a wider border at the bottom. Wrap twice with baker’s twine, securing the ends of the twine to the back of the yellow cardstock. Tie a bow around the wrapped twine with a second piece of twine.

5. Glue to the card front. Add the butterfly with foam tape.
